Reconstructing Otzi's body
The reconstruction of what Otzi the iceman may have looked like when he was alive has been made possible by the use of what historians call forensic archaeology. The process was done through the use of the latest forensic mapping technology that uses three dimensional images of the iceman’s skull as well as tomographic pictures.
Once the re-construction process was complete scientists were able to determine that Otzi had deep brown eyes, sunken and worn cheeks, he had a wrinkled face and an ungroomed beard as well as his hair.
